New Year!!!

It's a new year! Party! Woo hoo! Alright that's enough, sorry. We figured we'd post some of our fashion New Years resolutions. Be prepared. They are crazy exciting.
1.) Buy lots of dresses. We are newly obsessed and also want to wear them all with beat up
sneakers (preferably converses).
2.) Be original! We're sick and tired of seeing the girls in Charleston with their side ponytails and uggs. We get it, you are naturally cute, now do something exciting with it!
3.) Expand our vocabulary. You are probably wondering 'what the heck does this have to with fashion??' Well, Kristi's planning on making her contributions to this blog 1000x better so... And Kristina just thinks special words make us sound awesomer. Yes.
4.) We are dying to find killer purses. Kristi wants it neon and crazy. Puh lease comment if you know where she can find one. Kristina wants classy and knows that the Chanel bag is right for her. Guess she's gonna have to save up.....
5.) Find a new makeup trend. We would lurve to be able to do a cat eye.
6.) Buy a pair of adorkable large black glasses. Kristi is legally blind so her mom would probably agree to buy these. Thank the fashion gods its useful for something. Kristina is going to leave these "adorkable glasses" to Kristi.
7.) Kristi wants to be more ecofriendly in her wardrobe. This is selfishly motivated though because those ecofriendly clothes just have this effortless hippie chic, rocker, romantic quality about them that makes me wish she knew how to write songs on her sparkly guitar, Eddie.
8.) Kristina wants to buy only amazing pieces this year--not from places like Aeropostale or Abercrombie. They are like stores for zombies here--she's now only buying from etsy and other cool places like that. Plus, she wants her wardrobe to fit her age--she's 16 for God's sake, she should dress like one.
Hope your New Year is fantastic and you stick with your resolutions all year long!

We are greedy.....

We are bad. Its only like 5 days after Christmas, but we still want stuff. lol. Here are some of the things we NEED, especially after reading Nina Garcia's "The One Hundred."

Black Cashmere Hoodie
Everyone needs one of these for quick runs to the grocery store or to get coffee. And if its in black cashmere, its makes you look instantly awesome.

This is a great one from J.Jill. Kindof for older women, but very chic older women and we love this sweater so, its fine. Its not entirely cashmere-its mixed with cotton, but still nice. You can get this today for 71% off! Now thats saving!

Wellington Boots
We are definately going to need these for spring, so we must get them! We like them in green and blue, but black is so classic.

These are the classic brand from Hunter, based in the UK. This specific one is called Huntress. Its pricey, but its worth it.

Wayfarers
These are the must have sunglasses. We don't care if you have a million other kinds, you need to have this one. It will NEVER go out of style. And it must be in classic black. Again, it will never go out of style.

These are the best, from Ray-Ban, of course. VERYYYY pricey, but also worth it.

There are many more, but this is all we lust for at the moment. Till next time..

Random Photo Shoot!

Kristi and I did a photo shoot randomly yesterday with the weirdest bunch of clothes. The pictures were strange but we got some good ones and besides we had a great time doing it so who cares, right?? ;)

p.s. all clothes are either vintage from my grandmother or costumes from old dance recitals

3.1 Phillip Lim Resort 2010

Kristi LOVES THIS LOOK.She goes crazy about the shirt. Kristina is also loving it, paired with the biker jacket and skirt with the amazing folded bottom.

Lovee how the top of the skirt peeks out of the belt. Intensely classy.

coat being longer than the shorts=lurve. also lurve the old ruffly shirt.
Its like business woman chic but wayyy better.

Lurve the belt with this one and the skirt version of that other shirt. The oversized bag makes this. Very innocent.

This one is particularly amazing because he used lace for both the top and bottom but they look entirely different. Its such a perfect contrast. Also, the model's really pretty so, you know, that helps too.

OMG hearts go out to 3.1 Phillip Lim's Resort 2010 Collection!!
We love everything about this collection, including the lace patterns and the tailored pieces.

And so it begins....

We don't know what to write on this first post, so we have decided to screw it and move on to the fun stuff.
